| Concerns Today |
Households today depend on the
income of two working parents. It is even more
important than before to help get baby to sleep and
to stay asleep. Parents have tried many solutions
trying to calm baby and to replicate the womb
environment. Due to our changing
world it is not as easy to keep baby swaddled
against mom’s chest while riding around in the car.
With our changing times we need strategies that work
and that fit into our newly defined roles as
parents, caregivers, and or working parent.

Techniques |
-
Swaddling is a technique used to keep
baby’s arms and legs close to the body
mimicking the confined space of the
uterus.
- Holding
the baby close to the chest is an innate
technique for the purpose of soothing
the baby with the sounds of the
heartbeat.
-
Providing movement whether it’s a swing,
rocking chair, or a car to help calm the
baby.

Research evidence claims |

When a problem exists
research is funded to help find an answer. Using the
previously listed techniques have helped researchers to
identify a variety of strategies. It is from these
strategies that the Womb Effect was discovered. This
discovery enables us to simulate the womb environment. The
sound of the mother’s heartbeat has proven to calm and
soothe babies. It not only calms, but it helps babies to
fall asleep quicker and stay asleep for longer periods of
time. The success lies in the
technology used to replicate the intrauterine environment.
